Trifecta in world rankings

UniAve_Autumn 1600

ANU has continued to perform strongly against universities around the world rising one place from last year to 37th in the latest Times Higher Education World University Rankings released overnight.

The result confirms the University’s climb through international ranks following rises in this year’s Academic Ranking of World Universities and QS World University rankings.

This is a very positive endorsement of the work being carried out across the University.

ANU staff produce research and deliver teaching of the highest quality, ensuring this great institution has a competitive edge within our region and around the world.

Our commitment to world class standards is evident in the improvements we have seen across three separate international measures of university performance in as many months.

This upward trajectory is something the entire University community can be very proud of and is something we will continue to foster.

It is very pleasing to see that ANU has achieved a higher score in the three key categories of research, teaching and citations. Our result for research was a particular stand out with the University scoring 83.5, up from 75.1 last year.
