World University Rankings
The QS World University Rankings 2013/2014 released this morning show that ANU remains among the top 30 universities in the world, ranked 27th globally.
As you read this, I will be in China visiting some of its top ten universities.

Enterprise bargaining update
As part of our budget package, I indicated that the University would pay all staff a salary increase of 2%, backdated to 1 July 2013. This salary increase will be paid tomorrow.

The Government has announced $2.3 billion in cuts to higher education, including university funding and student support. These are the largest cuts to the sector since the Howard Government cuts of 1996.
